I wanted to blog about this picture ever since I took it but I just haven't had the chance, so here comes the story behind the photo.
I was coming home from work late at night and the train station was almost empty except for a couple of commuters and I had couple of minutes to spare before the next train. I've always had a fascination with Eglinton West station because I knew there was an interesting composition somewhere, it just took me a while to find it. I took an average perspective shot and then took my train home.
When I got to my place and saw this shot on the big screen, I had an idea to invert the shot and merge it into one image to highlight the beautiful geometrical patterns. Here is the result and I have to admit, I'm very happy with how it turned out.
